RAINS blog shortlisted for UK blog awards

The RAINS ICS blog has through a public vote been shortlisted for a UK blog award. The blog which was setup over 9 months ago has now seen 4 teams of ICS volunteers working on the blog. It has been one of our most successful blogs and it great to see it gaining recognition. This success of the blog is down to the hard work of all the volunteers who have contributed.

The National UK Blog Awards 2014© are the only Blog Awards recognising a multitude of industry professional talent across the UK. The UK Blog Awards provide a unique opportunity for individual professionals from their sector and organisations to be recognised for their social media achievements through blogging, with the chance to network and be inspired by other industry bloggers.

We will find out if they have won an award on Friday the 25th at the blog awards which are billed as the Oscars of the blogging world. The event will be attended by Caitlin Green who is the events and marketing coordinator at International Service and Matthew Bell who has been the most recent team leader on the RAINS project.
